Abstract:The influence of the applied stress and stretch on Poly(3,3 dimethyl oxetane), thermically crystallized, has been studied using Raman spectroscopy. The effect of these mechanical deformations produces a transformation from the orthorhombic to monoclinic structure which is the thermodynamically most stable form.
