Abstract: | The laser induced fluorescence spectra for the Ã(1B2)X̃(1A1) transition of van der Waals (vdW) complexes of aniline with N2, H2, and CH4 have been observed. Based on the analysis of the rotational structure of the spectra, it is suggested that two vdW conformers exist for the N2aniline complex though only one conformer is identified for the other complexes. In the electronically excited state of the CH4aniline complex, energy level splittings are observed and attributed to the intramolecular rotation of CH4. |
