Minor phospholipids of Dipthychocarpus strictus and Crambe schugnana

Summary From the combined phospholipids of the seeds ofDipthychocarpus strictus (Fisch.) Trautv. the less polar phospholipid with R _f 0.9 has been isolated, and on the basis of spectra and chemical information it has been identified as N-acylphosphatidylethanolamine. The total fatty-acid composition and also the O- and N-acyls have been determined. From the combined phospholipids of the seeds ofCrambe schugnana Korsh. three minor phospholipids have been isolated: N-acylphosphatidylethanolamine, lysophosphatidylcholine, and phosphatidylserine.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR, Tashkent.
