Complex formation of zinc, cadmium and manganese(II) with 2-hydroxypropylene-1,3-diamine-N,N,N′,N′-tetraacetic acid

The stability constants of the complexes of 2-hydroxypropylene-1,3-diamine N,N,N′,N′-tetraacetic acid (H₄L) with Zn²⁺, Cd²⁺, and Mn²⁺ ions were determined by the potentiometric method on the background of KCl at 298.15 K and ionic strengths of 0.1, 0.5, and 1.0. The resulting data were extrapolated to the zero ionic strength by a one-parameter equation.
