| Abstract: | The technical standards and requirements for the fiber optic cable construction and maintenance are introduced, the measures to enhance the splicing quality of optical fibers and fiber optic cables and the problems that should be paid attention in the splicing are also presented. These will play important role in splicing fiber optic cables with correct, normative, and quality manner, extending the lifetime of the fiber optic cables, decreasing the defaults in the fiber optic cables, and ensuring the communications expedite. |
