Reactions of N-substituted diazoles and their halo derivatives with naphthyllithium and naphthylsodium

1-Methylimidazole and halo derivatives of some 1-substituted imidazoles and pyrazoles react with naphthyllithium(sodium) to give organolithium(sodium) compounds. 1-Benzyl-3, 5-dimethylpyrazole undergoes debenzylation on reaction with naphthyllithium.Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 3, pp. 392–395, March, 1975.
