| Abstract: | The application of partial least-squares regression (PLS) method to simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of nicotine and benzene in tobacco extracts has been investigated. The results of PLS are more accurate and reliable compared with those of the multi-wavelength regression method and linear programming method. |
