| Abstract: | The structure of 2-amino-3-carbamoylchromone has been studied by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy. Selective hydrolysis of this compound gives 3-carbamoyl-4-hydroxycoumarin, whereas the reactions with acetic anhydride and hydrazines, 2-methyl-4H-chromeno-2,3-d]pyrimidine-4,5(3H)-dione and 3-aminochromeno4,3-c]pyrazol-4-ones, respectively. |
