| Abstract: | We use mixed three term recurrence relations typically satisfied by classical orthogonal polynomials from sequences corresponding to different parameters to derive upper (lower) bounds for the smallest (largest) zeros of Jacobi, Laguerre and Gegenbauer polynomials. |
