Abstract:A sandwich quartz cell is designed and a flow system is set up for photoacoustic calorimentry measurements in the case of optically thick solutions. Marquardt nonlinear least square is modified to fit the experimental time-resolved waveforms. The quenching of benzophenone triplet state by dienes is observed using the apparatus and the results are in agreement with K. Peters' values.
