Abstract: | Abstract Within the framework of the estended optical model, the gross resonant structures of the fusion escitation functions and the elastic scattering excitation functions for the 12C+12C and the 16O+20Ne systems are described well by using deep optical potentials. The origin of the gross resonant structures and the effect of the deep potential and the parity-dependent potential are discussed. |
