| Abstract: | A self-consistent mean-field theory for the two-dimensional spin-1/2 XY-Heisenberg an tiferromagnet without long-range-order is developed. Within this theoretical framework, the thermodynamic properties, such as the internal energy, specific heat and parallel susceptibility, are discussed, and the results are in rough agreement with the numerical simulation. |
