| Abstract: | Hydroxyl radical has been implicated in a number of pathological conditions, including ischemia, reperfusion and aging,and is thought to be generated within cells and tissues where it can attack proteins, lipids, DNA, and other biomolecules, thus initiating secondary radical reactions that can produce irreparable cellular damage. |
