Density-Dependence of Quark Mass in Scaling Chiral Lagrangian

Abstract:We calculate the quark mass in dense medium at one-loop order for an effective chiral Lagrangian supplemented by the scale anomaly of QCD. It is found that the tadpole diagram corrections lead to the decreasing mass of quark with density, while the effect of radiative corrections is opposite to that of the tadpole diagrams.
