| Abstract: | Infrared absorption bands due to OH stretching vibrations have been investigated in monodomain KNbO3 at different temperatures. The results obtained in the orthorhombic phase for polarized light suggest hydrogen positions predominantly along the O-O directions of the oxygen octahedron parallel to the spontaneous polarization. |
