One dimensional localization and superconducting fluctuation effect in thin Al wire

Abstract:The thin wire having a width of W = 400 A was fabricated and the magnetoresistance was measured at low temperatures far above Tc. One dimensional Maki-Thompson superconducting fluctuation effect was dominant in the magnetoresistance. Inelastic scattering length and quantum diffusion length in the wire are discussed.
