Abstract: | Some complexes of hypoxanthine with Cu(II), Ag(I), Cd(II), Hg(II), Pd(II), Rh(III) and Pt(IV) have been prepared in ethanolic, aqueous, basic or acid media and characterized on the basis of elemental analysis and IR studies. The thermal behaviour of these compounds has been studied using TG, DTG and DSC techniques. Heats of dehydration, dehalogenation and fusion have been calculated from DSC curves. |
