Abstract: | Improvements in the field of weighing with free magnetic suspension are reported. They concern the ratio of load capacity to deadload of a magnetic coupling, the accuracy of eddy current sensors, the elimination of undesired feedback from the control current of the magnetic coupling to a microbalance, adaptive control for the magnetic suspension and direct magnetic weighing without an additional balance. |
