Define μ_XY on β × $\text{F}$ by μ_XY(A) = μ_X ? μ_N{(x, y): (x, f(x, y)) ?A}, and let μ_Y = (μ_X ? μ_N)^of^?1. An expression is determined for computing the Shannon information in the measure μ_XY. This expression is used to compute the information for the non-linear additive Gaussian channel, and can be used to solve the channel capacity problem.
