Abstract: | By finding all static metrics with plane symmetry describing static planar walls, we prove the existence of a static planar domain wall in the case of a negative cosmological constant. This metric and its source can be justified as a limit case within the framework of a simple scalar field, the thin-wall approximation being obtained by a numerical analysis. |
