| Abstract: | This paper describes the synthesis of 1,2,1',2'-dianthraquinone-3,12-dicarboxylic acid dimethylester (5,6,7,8,9.) which have not been hitherto reported inliterature.Although the synthesis of 2,7-dimethylnaphthalene 4 has been reported inliterature,but a better route is presented in this paper. |
