| Abstract: | By using a compactification of the spatial part R3 of Minkowski-space different from the one-point compactification to S3, we get a new classification of the vacua for an SU(2) gauge theory. It contains, besides the vacua arising in the S3 compactification, the Gribov vacua as new classes. We discuss the role of pseudoparticle solutions within this framework and comment on the problem of the Coulomb gauge degeneracy. |
