A special case of the Stahl conjecture

Abstract:	Let _G_n_,_k $G_{n, k}$ denote the Kneser graph whose vertices are the n $n$ -element subsets of a (2n+k) $(2 n + k)$ -element set and whose edges are the disjoint pairs. In this paper we prove that for any non-negative integer s $s$ there is no graph homomorphism from _G₄_,₂ $G_{4, 2}$ to _G₄_s₊₁_,₂_s₊₁ $G_{4 s + 1, 2 s + 1}$ . This confirms a conjecture of Stahl in a special case.
