Abstract:Several kinds of chiral heterocyclic ligands without hydroxyl group have beensynthesized and used as catalysts for the asymmetric addition of diethylzinc to benzaldehyde.These ligands promoted the formation of (S)-1-phenylpropanols in good yields and medium togood enantioselectivities (50 ~ 86 % ee. ).
