Abstract: | The IR spectra of the title compound in the polycrystalline state, both normal and with different degrees of deuteration, were obtained at room and liquid air temperatures. The anion and water molecules' vibrational bands were assigned. The data show that the anion is located in sites of C1 symmetry and that the hydration water molecules are strongly asymmetric, forming weak hydrogen bonds. At least one of the water molecules is coordinated to the cation. |
