| Abstract: | "Xiangxi" (the west part of Hunan Province) subject matters in Shen Cong-wen's fictions are saturated with the spirit of Daoist art,especially with Zhuangzi's philosophy. From the perspective of Vegitable Garden, this article intends to probe Shen Congwen's inheritance and the development of Zhuangzi's philosophy as well as the simplicity and depth of tragedy in his novels. |
