An experimental study of the deformation of multilayer cylindrical shells

Experimental results are presented on the deformation of two-layer and four-layer reinforced shells subject to static loading. The strains on the outside and inside surfaces are unequal at points remote from the region of the edge effect when the shell is subject to an internal pressure and an axial force.P. I.
