Interaction of shock-wave fronts with interface of transversely isotropic elastic media

Abstract:A problem of diffraction of an incident-wave front interacting with an interface is considered within the framework of shock-wave theory for anisotropic elastic media. An approach to geometrical construction of reflected- and refracted-wave fronts using methods of continuation by a parameter is proposed for solution of Snellius generalized nonlinear equations.
