| 摘 要： | 在英语中 ,明喻 (Simile)和暗喻 (Metaphor)作为修辞格一直为作家广泛运用。这一修辞格的实践之花在英语中可以说是异彩纷呈、蔚为大观。明喻和暗喻作为一种修辞格 ,在英语中的表现形式和翻译方面都有很大的差别。从形式和翻译上对两种修辞手段进行比较 ,并从内容上加以分析 ,最终能达到将对比的结果运用于语言翻译的实践中去 ,在对比过程中采用英文经典名句和汉语译文进行比较 ,可比较出英语中明喻和暗喻两种修辞手段在形式和译句方面的异同

| Abstract: | Simile and metaphor are widely used in English as a kind of rhetorics by authors.The practice of simile and metaphor is extraordinarily splendor and extremely rich. Simile and metaphor differ greatly both in form and translation. The article is to apply the conclusion of contrasting them to the translation. In the article, the author will contrast classical English sentences which are in the use of simile and metaphor. |
