摘    要:联吡啶钌Ru(bpy)32+]的光化学始于1972年,它是一种理想的进行激发态电子转移反应的试剂。但迄今其作为光氧化反应敏化剂的研究还不多。根据文献报道,认为它是一种单重态氧的敏化剂。

Abstract:The dark reaction of cumene oxidation catalyzed by bipyridine ruthenium (II) complex Ru(bpy)32+] was investigated.Superoxide could not oxidize cumene under similar condition.Addition of cumene peroxide could accelerate the oxidation process.Temperature effect on the rate of oxygen absorption indicates the free radical nature of the oxidation reaction.The result is particularly interesting because the catalytic oxidation property of Ru(bpy)32+] in ground state is demonstrated while Ru(bpy)32+] is known as a singlet oxygen sensitizer in its excited state.
