| Abstract: | Under UV-light irradiation, the anti-Markovnikov hydration of internal arylalkynes proceeds in the cavity of an electron-deficient coordination cage to give benzyl ketones; the reaction is triggered by cage-mediated, photo-induced electron transfer from the alkynes to the cage. |
