| Abstract: | Heterocyclic skeleton building blocks to afford dihydropyrimidinones and dihydropyridines based on neat adducts of diketene,alcohols and aldehydes via silica sulfuric acid(SSA) catalyzed ring opening of diketene in four-component Biginelli-type and Hantzsch-type reactions are presented. |
