| Abstract: | The shifts of the fluorescence spectra of aniline (A), N-methyl-A and N,N-dimethyl-A in mixtures of cyclohexane and tetrahydrofuran, 1-butanol or 1,4-dioxan differ only because of the molecular volumes of the amines and not because of their excited-state hydrogen-bonding properties. |
