| Abstract: | Tris(2-ethylhexyl)phosphate is proposed as an extractant for scandium(III) and yttrium(III) from salicylate media. The optimum extraction conditions are evaluated and described. The method permits mutual separation of scandium(III) and yttrium(III) and can be used for the separation and determination of scandium(III) and yttrium(III) from binary and multicomponent mixtures. |
