| Abstract: | We establish some new and strengthened characterizations ofzonoids and generalized zonoids. These arise from densenessproperties of differences of certain surface area measures.In addition to these new characterizations, we are able to considerablyrelax the differentiability condition in an earlier result ofSchneider. |
