从铁矿石进口看我国钢铁业的整合

国际铁矿石市场呈现卖方高度集中、买方非常分散的格局，导致卖方向买方索取高价；这种市场结构格局造成钢铁行业利润向上游转移。我国是世界上最大的铁矿石进口国和钢铁生产国，这种市场格局对我国钢铁业的长远发展极为不利。另外，与国际水平相比，我国钢铁业的规模经济尚未充分发挥。基于以上的分析，本文认为我国有必要加快钢铁业的整合并提出相应的政策措施。

On China's Necessity of Integrating its Steel Industries Based on an Observation of International Iron Ore Trade

The present international iron ore market is featured by highly concentrated sellers and decentralized buyers, which gives the sellers advantages of claiming favorable prices against the buys. Under this market struc- ture, most of the profit is transferred to the upper end of the steel industry chain. On the other hand, China is the largest importer of iron ore and the largest producer of steel as well. Consequently, the present international iron ore market structure will inevitably bear negative influence on the long - term development of China＇ s steel industry. Besides, in comparison with international level, the scale of China＇ s steel industry hasn＇ t reached the expected height. Based on all the above analysis, the author puts forward the opinion that the integration of China＇ s steel industry needs to be promoted, and the countermeasures are supposed to be given as well.
