Noise-insensitive iterative method for interferogram processing

Abstract:We have developed and numerically evaluated an iterative algorithm for interferogram processing, which includes the Fourier-transform method, the Gerchberg-Papoulis algorithm and Wiener's filter-based regularization used in combination. Using a signal-to-noise ratio of not less than 1, it has been possible to reconstruct the phase of an object field with an accuracy better than 5%.
