Abstract: | PtIn–C(SiMe3)3]4 – a Pt(CO)4 Analogous Compound with a Platinum Atom Tetrahedrally coordinated by Four InR Ligands The reaction of the tetrahedral alkylindium(I) compound In4C(SiMe3)3]4 ( 1 ) with bis(cyclooctadiene)platinum(0) afforded the compound PtInC(SiMe3)3]4 ( 2 ), which is an analogue of the thermally unstable carbonyl complex Pt(CO)4 and possesses a platinum atom tetrahedrally coordinated by four InR ligands. |
