| Abstract: | Photolysis reaction of dibenzo[a,d]cycloheptene dimer 3 provides three dibenzo[a,d]cycloheptyl dimers 4 , 5 and 6 under different irradiation conditions via the intramolecular degradative cyclodimerization. A tetracyclic benzo[4,5]cyclohepta[1,2,3‐de]naphthalene core is also synthesized. |
