| Abstract: | The four diastereoisomeric gorgonane sesquiterpenes 1 – 4 and the two diastereoisomeric forfugane sesquiterpenes 6 and 7 , which all have the same molecular formula C15H28O3 and belong to the same eudesmane‐like sesquiterpenes, were isolated from the leaves and twigs of Illicium spathulatum. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR spectroscopy. |
