| Abstract: | Two new pentacyclic triterpenes, (3β,21β)‐19,21‐epoxylup‐20(29)‐en‐3‐yl acetate ( 1 ) and (3β)‐9,18‐dihydroxyolean‐12‐en‐3‐yl acetate ( 2 ), were isolated from Abelmoschus esculentus (L.) Moench . Their structures were determined on the basis of detailed analyses of their 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR‐spectroscopic and MS data. |
