Abstract:Cellulose-tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate)(CDMPC) was used as a chiral stationary phase for resolution of theta-cypermethrin racemate by HPLC with n -hexane-isopropanol as mobile phase. The influences of isopropanol concentration in the mobile phase, temperature and the column length on the resolution were investigated. The resolution capacity was increased with decrease of isopropanol fraction in the mobile phase and the column temperature. The results revealed good chiralselectivity to theta-cypermethrin by HPLC using CDMPC as stationary phase.
