晚清《八省沿海全图》初探

晚清《八省沿海全图《计79幅,系实测航行图集,是具有工程应用价值的历史文献.本文就《全图》概貌、浙江诸图的特征、若干存疑的论证和《全图》评估等四个方面进行讨论。这些讨论将有助于对《全图》的研究和应用。

A Preliminary Analysis for Eight Coastal Provinces Chart Atlas at the Late Qing Dynasty

Eight coastal provinces' chart atlas is a navigation chart atlas and a historical document with a high application value on the engineering. It amounts to severity-nine charts which consist of a general chart from Fengtian to Guangdong, five charts of the Zhili sea area, six of Fengtian, five of Shandong, three of Jiangsu, seven of Chang Jiang, twelve of Zhejiang, twelve of Fujian, five of Taiwan and twenty-three of Guangdong. In this paper four discussed problems are the general situation of the chart atlas, the features of the charts of the Zhejiang sea area, the demonstration about some doubtful points and the evaluation of the chart atlas. This paper will be helpful tothe study and application of the chart atlas.
