| Abstract: | Adsorption of benzoic acid at the mercury electrode was studied in a wide pH range. The adsorption isotherms of benzoic acid from electrocapillary and capacity measurements were calculated. From the dependence of capacitance and potential of zero charge on pH the pKel of benzoic acid was determined. |
