摘    要:Magnesium (Mg) and its alloys are one of the lightest metals used in the construction, automotive, aerospace, and communications industries. Owing to its low density, high specific strength, and good cast and welding ability, interests in Mg and Mg alloy are proliferating rapidly. However, there are some inherent problems arising from their chemically active nature, such as poor corrosion resistance, friction, and wear characteristicst21. In order to improve these properties,. surface modification is a viable approach and techniques such as electrochemical plating, anodizing, physical vapor deposition (PVD), and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) have been proposed
