Abstract:Two mononuclear tin(IV) corn-plcxes, (4-NH2C6H4S)4Sn 1 and [(4-NH2C6H4S)2(4-NH3C6H4S)2Sn]Cl2 2, have been synthesized and charac-terized by X-ray structure analysis. The Sn4 ion in 1 is four-coordinated to form a highly distorted tetrahedral configuration, while that in 2 adopts a slightly distorted tetrahedron.
