| Abstract: | Rh catalysts supported on different  -aluminas were prepared and tested under identical conditions. Both catalytic activity and selectivity seem to depend on the surface concentration of acid sites. The bifunctional character of the catalyst and the role played by the support in activating the reactants are confirmed.
