Abstract:	The reaction of HOs₃(CO)₁₁]^? with AuClPR₃ (R  Et, Ph) yields the complex HOs₃Au(CO)₁₀(PR₃), and the PPh₃ derivative has been characterised by an X-ray analysis; the structure is compared with that of Os₃Au(CO)₁₀(PPh₃)-(SCN) and is shown to contain a formally unsaturated OsOs bond.
