Abstract: | The enhancement of the atomic-absorption signals of iron, cobalt, nickel and chromium in a fuel-rich air-acetylene flame by small amounts of aluminium makes possible the indirect determination of aluminium in the concentration range 0.01-10 ppm. The optimization of working conditions and the occurrence of interferences are reported. |
