| Abstract: | Tracer experiments on Tiliacora racemosa Colebr established that tiliageine has “S” and “R” configuration at the asymmetric centres C1 and C'1 respectively. The experiments also prove that tiliageine is biosynthesised in the plants from N-methylcoclaurine. |
